Xiaomi is presenting the Pro series of their tablets for the first time in Indonesia. Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro specifications
As a tablet with a fairly large screen size, it turns out that the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro has a relatively light weight at 590 grams while the body is also thin at 6.26 mm. The design looks simple and minimalist, with a camera bump shape that is similar to the Xiaomi 14 flagship cellphone.
Apart from its large size, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro screen also has very good specifications with 3K resolution (3048 x 2032 pixels) producing sharpness of 294 PPI, while the 3:2 aspect ratio makes the view more spacious. Xiaomi claims the 144Hz refresh rate is the smoothest screen for a tablet in its class.
Equipped with the former flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, this tablet can be relied on to carry out various tasks up to multi-tasking with support for 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, while the internal storage uses UFS 3.1 type with a capacity of 256GB. This is suitable for supporting your productivity!
What’s even more interesting, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro comes with better accessory support. This tablet is equipped with a magnetic wireless tablet that has a touchpad and backlit light. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Focus Pen stylus is also available with the Focus Mode feature and low latency of 3 ms.
With a large screen and great performance, it doesn’t feel complete if the battery is small. Therefore, Xiaomi has equipped it with a 10,000 mAh capacity battery and interestingly it supports 120W super fast charging. It is claimed that the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro battery can be fully charged in just 35 minutes.
The embedded camera is also quite capable with a 50MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor, while the selfie camera has a resolution of 32MP. The main camera can record video up to 4K resolution at 60fps. Another highlight is in terms of audio, with a total of six Dolby Atmos speakers, as well as four microphones.
It doesn’t stop there, relying on the latest Xiaomi HyperOS, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro comes with features to support productivity. For example, Home screen+, copy and paste notes, one tap photo and file sharing, workstation mode, and cross-device collaboration. This tablet also supports display output via USB-C 3.2 Gen 1.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro will be available online starting May 5 2024, including the Xiaomi Focus Pen. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro Touchpad Keyboard will be available later on May 25 2024. The tablet will be available offline at official stores, Erafone and partners starting May 10 2024.
Xiaomi is selling this newest tablet for $500 in Indonesia, with a choice of Graphite Gray color and an 8/256GB configuration. The Xiaomi Focus Pen will be sold for $63, while the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro Touchpad Keyboard is priced at $100.
