Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S23 Fe in Indonesia. This smartphone is the most secure option from Samsung for users who want to experience the flagship-class smartphone experience from Samsung.
Yes, even though the price is more affordable than the Galaxy S23 series, but Samsung also still provides flagship class features in this S23 FE variant. What are the features, here are.
Body

The body of the Galaxy S23 FE has a flagship impression. Although it looks a lot like the Galaxy A54, it’s actually very different. The material used here is Gorilla Glass for front and back cross sections, as well as metal material for the framen parts.
This is far increasing from the previous generation of S21 FE which still uses Polycarbonate material. Whereas in this Galaxy S23 FE, the material used is the same as their Galaxy S23 series.
Screen
The screen used is also the same as their flagship class, which uses the Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. This is different from the Galaxy A series which still uses standard AMOLED. In addition, there is also an Adaptive Refresh rate feature, where the screen can adjust the refresh rate from 60-120Hz.
SoC
Of course, no less important here is the SoC used. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has also used the Flagship SoC class, Exynos 2200. This SoC was once used in the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series, although for markets in Indonesia, the series uses another version namely with Soc Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
This is certainly an opportunity we feel firsthand what the performance of Exynos 2200, which was only officially present in Indonesia. Exynos 2200 itself became Samsung’s first SoC to already use the XClipse GPU with the RDNA 2 architecture from AMD.
Of course we will become increasingly curious about the perfroma offered, which we will later discuss in the full review of the Galaxy S23 FE.
Camera

In terms of the camera, this smartphone has also presented the Samsung Flagship class experience. The configuration is the main sensor 50MP (OIS), Ultra Wide 12MP, Telephoto 8MP (3x Optical Zoom), and a 10MP selfie camera.
The video recording capability is up to 4K/60FPS, which is also the typical camera capability of Samsung flagship smartphones.
In addition, Samsung also highlights the Nightography capabilities of the Galaxy S23 FE, aka photography in low light conditions. The quality of shooting at minimal light, promised bakery similar to the Galaxy S23 series regular version.
Wireless Charging
Yes, the other Flagship feature here is from the Power aspect, namely Wireless Charging. Galaxy S23 FE already supports the Wireless Charging 2.0 feature from Samsung.
The Wireless Charging feature also has a Qi certification, so users can charge with a wireless charging adapter that uses the standard. In addition, there is also a PowerShare feature, where users can charge other gadget devices, with power from this smartphone device.
Display Out and Samsung DeX
Well, the last one here is the Display Out and Samsung DeX features. Again, this feature is also only available in Samsung’s flagship class.
With the Display Out feature, users can connect smartphones to the TV / Monitor screen to clean up, which is certainly very minimal latency, when compared to Wireless connections, which are certainly available in all smartphone classes.
With Samsung DeX mode, users can connect their smartphones to monitors using a display out cable, and change their smartphones to the proper use of a PC.
Then what else are the flagship features available at Galaxy S23 FE this? What is the overall perfroma like? To find out more, look forward to a review of the Galaxy S23 FE in the Jagat Review.
